Long Beach Coast Names Beachwood Brewing as Official Craft Beer Partner
Local Brewery and Distillery to Bring Season-Long Fan Experiences Inside Blair Field and Across Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA – The Long Beach Coast today named Beachwood Brewing, the award-winning Long Beach craft brewery, the Official Craft Beer Partner of the team ahead of its inaugural season at historic Blair Field.
Owners Chef Gabriel Gordon and his wife Lena Perelman launched Beachwood Brewing in Long Beach in 2011. Beachwood since then has been a cornerstone of Long Beach's craft beverage scene. Beachwood Brewing brings a local identity and a commitment to community hospitality that aligns closely with the values the Coast is building its organization around. The partnership marks a season-long collaboration between two brands united by a shared investment in Long Beach and the people who call this city home.
To celebrate the start of the season, Beachwood Brewing and the Long Beach Coast are teaming up on an Opening Series fan promotion. Fans who attend any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday game during the Opening Series from June 2-4 can bring their game ticket to any Beachwood Brewing location and redeem one pint for $3. Redemption is valid through two days following the game attended.
Beachwood's taproom locations across Long Beach will serve as official hubs for team events and community activations throughout the season, creating opportunities for fans to engage with the Coast in neighborhood settings and bringing the spirit of professional baseball deeper into the community.
This partnership makes it clear: local brands are invested in the city’s inaugural professional baseball season, just as the Coast are invested in the Long Beach community. Through these community-focused partnerships, the team can extend the Coast fan experience beyond Blair Field and into the community.
"From the beginning, we've wanted the Long Beach Coast to feel like an extension of this city. We’re not just a team that plays here, but an organization that's genuinely woven into the fabric of Long Beach," said Paul Freedman, Co-Founder of the Long Beach Coast. "Beachwood has spent years doing exactly that. They've built something that people in this city are proud of, and we couldn't be more excited to grow this season together."
The partnership represents a natural expansion of Beachwood Brewing’s community presence and an opportunity to connect with a new generation of Long Beach fans through the Coast's inaugural season.
“Beachwood has proudly been part of the Long Beach community since 2011, and this partnership with the Long Beach Coast felt like a natural fit from the start,” said Gabriel Gordon, Owner of Beachwood Brewing.
“We’ve always believed great beer brings people together, and we see that same excitement, energy, and sense of community building around this new team in the heart of Long Beach. With all three of our Long Beach locations just minutes from Blair Field, it only made sense for us to partner with the Coast, pour some our beer for fans all season long, and create something fun and uniquely Long Beach together.”
Locals can assemble at Beachwood’s three Long Beach locations: Beachwood Brewing & Distilling at 3630 Atlantic Ave, Beachwood Blendery Taproom at 247 N Long Beach Blvd, and Beachwood 2nd and PCH Taproom at 6430 E Pacific Coast Hwy.
The Long Beach Coast home opener is set for June 2 at Blair Field. Additional collaborative fan experiences, community activations, and Beachwood-branded moments at the ballpark will be announced throughout the season. Fans can also connect with Beachwood throughout the year at the brewery's three Long Beach locations: Beachwood Brewing & Distilling in Bixby Knolls, Beachwood Blendery Taproom in Downtown Long Beach, and Beachwood 2nd & PCH Taproom in East Long Beach.
